Vector vs. Pixels

My Experience in Graphic Design

I’ve done graphic designing over few years now and still play around with it to this day. I wouldn’t say I am highly skilled in it. I haven’t really made anything big after graduating from high school. I’ve been making little things here and there to be proud of ever since taking Adobe Illustrator class in college. Taking the class made my eyes open how much I could’ve had done back in high school with all the tools. I took some of the new stuff I learnt and put it into my own personal works. It just keeps getting better than the last. Although, I am more like a vector base user than pixels. I played around with Photoshop too, but my favor into using that apps make me feel iffy about it. I often envy those who knew how to use photoshop well and even photoshopping certain elements. It’s really impressive how they do it as it is pixel based. I myself often have trouble when it comes to polishing it. The pixels are what gets me infuriated doing photoshop work.

Enjoy Vector Based Grapics

I’ve been on Adobe Illustrator almost every day creating sketches, then see fit if I wanted to make this one sketch become a product. Vector base graphics had cleaner edges than pixel base graphics. My main gripe of Photoshop is trying to clip mask elements and transport to another document. I do try to make clipped image clean, but the program outlines it so oddly. Polishing it took lot of effort to make it not look crooked. However, I might still inexperienced into it, as if I am stubborn to touch more of that program. For Illustrator, I found far more fun playing shapes and creating anything from it. I was also inexperience until taking a class of it again. I still want to create my own logo someday for my works to inherit by the time I would publish it. I always admire other graphic designer’s works as I wish I could also create creative original design logos for myself.

A probiotic drink logo graphic for Final Project in class. Colors are always my favorite thing to do while making these.
